1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

On Wednesday afternoon Mr. Michel Reese from Sparta is going to cut the grass on my lot at the Grand. He does custom cutting in Sparta. He told me he would cut the grass on the large lots for $10.00. The cost of the smaller lots will be $5.00. If anyone would like for him to cut your grass while he is here, you might consider contacting him. He told me to have you call him or email him anytime tonight or tomorrow. He will get all lots done tomorrow. His phone number is 618-521-9693. His email address is: REESEROOFING.CONSTRUCTION@YAHOO.COM.

I am just glad that the state of Illinois is not in the golf course business. Talk about rough!

It does beat the mud from year one and the brown parched thatch of the year after.

With all the rain we've had this year Southern Illinois (not to be mistaken for the other Illinois) we are still in the June mode of having to have the grass cut every week. I've been here since Wedsnesday last and the grass then was not bad. Now it needs cutting again but how you going to do that in the middle of the biggest shoot in the world?

I would like to give a thank you for to Big Papa for putting the word out about the fact that I will mow the grass. I was under the assumption that the Complex people did this, until Big Papa talked to my mom at the Chamber information booth. She immediately called me (while I was on a job) and I offered to come out and take care of some of the lawns if the people were interested. We welcome you to Sparta.
