    Possibilities abound:

    1. They can't afford the ammo necessary to decide singles shootoffs.
    2. It's too hot
    3. They have no night vision
    4. They were insufficently motivated by a $20 belt buckle
    5. There wives wouldn't let them out to play
    6. It was past their bedtime
    7. They saw who the competition was and bailed
    8. They are still pi$$ed off for missing one target
    9. They already took their viagra pill and all blood flow has been redirected
    10. They could not hear the call to the line through all the weeds

    feel free to add more

36 posted on the leader board or 36 called for the shootoff? If 36 were called, I can not fathom why only 6 would check in.

I can see it if there were 36 on the TV. Over half of the scores were probably category shooters. We can eliminate any Sub Junior, Junior, Lady 1 or 2 shooters from those 36, as their score was eligible to shoot off for category. Other category shooters may have been confused, thinking they weren't eligible to shoot for class even though they were.

No doubt several shooters were caught with their proverbial pants down, and went back to the motel/out to dinner/or were just too far away from their gun when calls were made.

Wednesday night is always a good party night around the campers (but what night isn't). Several shooters may have been hosting guests or had a once a year shindig they would rather attend.

Yet a few more may have felt they weren't up to shooting hundreds of more targets against an unknown number of people over god knows how many nights.

6 of 36 does seem low, but not unimaginable. I know that if I had that score, I would be there.

Calls are done 3 times. All three times they just happened to miss/skip AA? Mistakes can happen, but I find that hard to believe.

Can't tell from Stuart's site beacuse the presentation differs from other shoot software, but my bet is that jptrap is right on.

Many of those AA 199's were likely category shooters that were tied for a category trophy of some kind so were not eligible for a AA shootoff.

We almost missed our shootoff that night. The camp grounds and line speakers were not turned on (Championship night). Glad I opened the door to the camper and head the tv. Had to rush the kid off just in time to sign in and run to the line.

The camp ground and far end of the East Bank speakers were on but broken from the storm Thursday evening.
