Decent shell prices but not as good as Wally World Remington Game Loads at $41.40 a flat. 1oz #8 or #7.5 shot @ 1290fps.

I just came from my local dealer who said he was informed by his wholesaler that prices will be going up by 45% on all ammo in the next 60 days. We better get what we can get before then.

45% increase? Did or do you actually believe a 45% increase?

I heard Wally World in Sparta was a little cheaper on AA's and STS's, $55.xx plus tax - maybe someone here can verify that.

$55.xx at Wally World is correct. $42 for Gun Club.

If you purchase 4 flats at Gamaliel, they will enter you in a drawing for "A Year's Supply of Ammo" which they consider to be 52 flats. You get an entry punch card with four spaces when you purchase shells. After four punches it goes in the drawing box. I have one in and am working on a second. Might end up with a third.

The clerk at Wal-Mart wanted to see the ATA card of anybody who wasn't from Illinois or the adjoining states. Also they are required to get verification from the bank for credit card purchases greater than $300.

I'm not sure if Gamaliel would also have to call the bank or not. My purchase from them was $240. My purchase at Wal-Mart was $594. All in all, I'd probably go to Gamaliel for everything if I had to do it over (I bought Estates from Gamaliel, W-M wasn't carrying Estates.)

Gamaliel stated on the phone that NONE OF THEIR SHELLS ARE MARKED for the grand. I have flats from the last few grands in Vandalia and hoped to add to the collection.
