Does anyone have a .pdf map of the grounds? We are gonna presquad but want to be on a bank that is a reasonable walking distance from parking.

Does anyone know if there are golf carts available to rent? How much? Can they be reservered now?

    Thanks!

You can drive to every bank and park 50 feet away. There is no shortage of parking. You don't have to walk, and you probably don't need a golf cart if you have a car available.

The answer is different if you arrive in an RV. I believe golf carts are available for rent, but I haven't used them. The other guys here will know how to answer that one.

There are several banks that you might have to walk farther to than others but only because of buildings or vendor tents. Banks 1-3 can be parked right behind and probably banks 10-26 are in the open. I wish all of the banks were clogged with vendors.

Not a very good picture if I'm trying to describe the traps, but Bank 1 is at the top and the last bank is on the bottom. There are 4 or 5 banks on the 'top' side of the main building all with parking behind them and the rest of the banks have parking directly behind them as you can see. There are also trolleys for shade available behind just about every trap. As for the golf cart, as said before a car will do you fine, and last year (if you fly) renting a car for 2 weeks was cheaper than renting a golf cart. Hope I helped.

I used my car and saved myself $50.00 and it was worth it too.......My car has air conditioning and the carts don't......lol

No need for a cart when you can drive your vehicle to just about anyplace.

Carts are available to rent. They are the last vendor on the West end. The word is they are only going to use the traps east of the main entry bldg. which makes parking easy.

Last year I believe they used the fields on the west end for practice traps & I think they shot the Krieghoff shootoffs there too. Don't hold me to that though, memory is a funny thing--sometimes it works & sometimes not.

Thanks everyone! We are driving and staying in a hotel so I think we'll not need the cart. That Interactive map on communtity link is great.

Golf carts can be rented from the "little Egypt Golf Carts Ltd". Telephone # 618-548-2366, Fax # 618-548-3764 and e-mail marcie@littleegyptgolfcars.com. have used them for the pass 3 years and no problems.

You definately need wheels, air conditioning will be helpful. Two of my friends
An experienced friend and a rookie, The youngest said he was going to fly Detroit-St. Louis and rent a car at airport,Sparta bound.
My senior buddy suggested not getting a convertable, so he did not.
    Good suggestion.
This winter we all met in Phoenix(GoodYear) My senior friend met us at entrance driving porche convertable.
( Do as I say not as I do)

As stated above parking is good for most traps. Distance from parking lot to traps is about 250 feet if you are parked directly in front of your starting trap.
