At the Grand, does anyone shoot from the 16 yard line? Do you have to have a shooting history at a ATA event to shoot? Can you go there and just shoot a few rounds to experience the place?

The above answer is not corect. The singles events are shot from the 16 yard line. You do not need any ATA history. You will be required to join the ATA if you are not a current member. If you do not have 1,000 ATA registered singles targets this year you will shoot in either A or B class (I am not sure which), but you can join the ATA and shoot the same day. Or if you do not want to join the ATA you just shoot practice on the practice fields.
