Just got my Grand Program. It looks like it will cost $34.00/ per event. Am I correct that it would cost $102.00/ for a typical 300 target program and that would get $9.00 out of it.

    Phil -

You are correct, if you meant to say "that ILLINOIS would get $9.00 out of it".

The IDNR fee is $3 per event (not per 100).

It seems reasonable to me. The facility required a ton of capital to build and it requires funding to operate.

    There is no free ride.

One squad will shoot 500 targets, let's say a box of WF is $10. 4 boxes will do a squad and have 40 left over. So $40 cost for that squad (I'm sure the ATA is getting a much better deal but just throwing up some numbers) ATA makes $155 on entry fees, so $115 gross per squad. By the time you pay the help, Bubba, all of the workers. That what seems like a lot of money disappears really fast. Not trying to start anything here just looking at it from a rough broad perspective. Jake

Jake write up a plan and show them how they can do it cheaper. You have just touched on some of the costs.

Clyde where do you get we, you're not going remember. But good jab anyway.

I wonder if it is jealousy that keeps people slamming the Grand in Sparta? I mean you don't see me or anyone else constantly bringing up other facilities to bad mouth them. I really have nothing to be jealous about. It is what it is i guess.

over/under--The IDNR has been charging sales tax and recieving target fees since day one in Sparta. Some just have to keep bringing things up to stir the pot. What if everyday i brought up the CC in a thread and nit picked it to death? I'd likely start a whirlwind of hate?

    I don't do that because:

    1) i've never been there and

    2) it's counter productive for the sport in general.

I am glad you are coming and i know Clyde has also been to Sparta Grands. Why keep starting the BS? Maybe that is what i meant? You really think Clyde is seeking answers or just starting sh!t??
