heard a rumor that the Martins are not putting up any added money for the 2013 Grand America. If that is the case, are new shells going to be required for Handicap?

We should be grateful that they put it up in the 1st place. That was very generous of them. Did you think it was going to last forever? People went to the grand before the money they will go after the generous donations are gone. Rich

Not concerned if they put up the money, was very apprecitive that they did. My question is: will it be madatory to shoot new shells or can we use reloads.

The ATA will probably take up a collection at the entrance, that way the shooters who attend will be shooting for their own money instead of the rest of the Members money ... That should net them about $37.22 ties divide ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Hey I am just glad they were able to do it for us the last few
years! I am sure the ATA tried to dip in somehow, that's just my opinion

Dave, don't bite the hand that feeds you...
Here is an idea...how about the ATA pays out a check with every trophy? even if you played "targets only"?

Last year the ATA added 100 grand to the prelim week. Maybe this year that could be shifted to a Lewis for Grand week.

Great Idea. I would like to add additional thought regarding that subject. How about if the check amounts with trophys were increased signifigcantly in relation with the degree of difficulty to win the trophy? ie; class, handicap yardage and or number of shooters, ect.,. My thoughts are if the amounts were large enought and increased with degree of difficulty it would help attendance, increase competition and meanwhile help to decrease sand bagging.

You guys act like the ATA is overflowing with cash. If they are, then they should lower daily fees for everyone at all the shoots instead spending it on designated shoots of their choice where less than 10% of the membership attend.
