I wanted to hear the attendance numbers...

With good weather I would assume they are way up but I can't find any numbers. How many were in the Hodgdon singles?

I counted around "830" (26 pages of 32 shooters)on the first day from the online score sheets, if that helps. Haven't looked at today.

I heard that was the last number on the last squad if all were full.

Any more help would be appreciated....

I don't think so. Those that want to go and can afford it, will. Everyone else will stay home. It's always been that way.

Hot weather is not an excuse this year!

I believe Setterman is correct. The Martin money was nice, but, think about it.

What are the chances that You will win a handicap event, then go on to beat all the other winners of the other handicap events and get your picture taken being handed a $100K check?

All of the folks I've met and talked with at the Grands in Sparta were there just to shoot, have fun, meet up with old friends and maybe make new ones.

This year's weather seems perfect, and I'm kicking myself repeatedly.

I decided a little earlier this year that I'd spend the "Grand money" on the house. I had the inside painted last week and am now trying to decide between wood laminate flooring or tile to finish our re-do.

So while you guys are headed out to Bank 12 or some other one tomorrow, I'll be heading over to Home Depot to plunk down the rest of the "Grand money."

7 1/2s or 8s--I mean wood laminate or tile?

Not nearly as much fun as eating that wonderful peach ice cream.

    Bob Falfa,

Lets see a picture of that 55 you got, love them old Chevy's but always been a Mopar guy ... I have a neighbor who has a really nice "55" for sale, seems like everyone who wants it don't have any money ... I have the same problem with my Hot Rod, lots of lookers and want to be riders with no money ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Sorry WPT, I rolled it out on Paradise Road, back in '73, trying beat Milner's p*ss yeller coupe. Burnt clear out. You know how it goes.

RLC brings it up occasionally so I'll get nostalgic and subsequently drop a target or two. He's a crafty devil.

My old friend Harry C. taught me the importance of the mental game. I recall he mentioned between traps when I was going good one day that I was "really quick to the target" today. My next thought was "am I really quick today?". Three missed targets later, a lesson learned.

Hope to see you Thursday, Bob
