Are there any plans for trees or shade along the line?

I'll be parked along side the 2 previous posters.

I'm glad my Yukon has 2 air conditioners.

The temperature on Monday was 99 degrees with a heat index of 115. It only took us two (2) hours to shoot 100 sixteen yard targets with all the kids and parents taking breaks to talk etc. Handicap there were 159 squads but I do not actually know how many shooters. There are problems with the help on loading traps and that hardest of jobs keeping score and 1 of the 3 R's.

Our singles on Monday also took 2 hrs, but that was due to trap/CVR problems.

Today was better; 1 hr for the singles, same for handicap.

The only real "problem" I've encountered is almost all the scorers don't call losses or scores loud enough. I've had to tell almost all of them that I've encountered that they need to speak up.

Other than that, things aren't bad. It's a bit warm, but it's not as humid as it could be and there's been a good breeze each of the last two days.

Why can't they put up some flat topped metal shades. You don't have to wait for them to "grow" plus they don't have to be watered. Additionally they don't create a turbulence like a tree does to effect the targets flight.
