How much would the grand american handicap pay out for a lone 100 if all options were played?

It depends on the number of shooters playing the purses and the options.

I remember when a solo 100 at the Grand American would have payed out $40,000.00 plus. What a change in our sport. It looks like more trophies less money is the way our sport is headed.

It comes to about $10,500. Considerably less than previous years.

The payout is entirely dependent upon how much money is put into the options played and that developes the payout purse....

In these times of lower attendance and budget minded shooters, it is understandable that the payouts are much smaller at least IMO.

Economics of the times will always determine the payouts...

    regards

Just one more reason for you to stay at home, Mr. Snyder. It's hardly worth your trouble. Besides, fewer and fewer people are going to the Grand, the targets are way too easy, sandbaggers are everywhere, the big dogs are eating your lunch, bottled water costs to much, it's too hot, handicap rules are all screwed up, singles are boring, the food is terrible, there are no wagons this year, and it's too expensive. Plus, they never shoulda closed Vandalia.

Phooey. Might as well stay at home. Gosh, what's the point?

The point is obscured for those who don't want to open their eyes and see it. Shoots are down 10% but payoffs are down 75%. According to some, these are the worst economic times ever. Those payoffs were way down when the economy was booming a few short years ago. I'd say their memory is getting short!!

Why, a guy can barely afford to shoot any more. I can hardly afford the payments on my motor coach.

Some wont like this but the payout is lower for a number of reasons. With two of them, that could be corrected by the BOD.
