Now after fleecing the public trust and the dim witted administration they now are planning on giving $15,000 bonuses to the employees. I honestly believe the 3 stooges could do a better job than the illegal alien in the WH.

    Where does it all end?

I don't want to sound like Hannity or Beck but where does it say in the U.S. Constitution that our tax dollars are to be used to "invest" in private companies. They'll probably never do anything about it, but I'd bet my last shotgun shell that there were kickbacks all along the way.

    What a crock of . . . . well, you know.

    Skeet,

Tax breaks are incentives to allow technology and manufaturing to develop. (ie: jobs) Tax breaks are offered by countries, states, cities, towns, counties and municipalities to help bring jobs and opportunities to their areas. Tax breaks usually have an expiration of several years or so to allow the recipient time to get established and profitable. So a tax break offered by Santorum is not a deal breaker by any means. It's the corrupt government handout of large DONATIONS of OUR money that should be an outrage to taxpayers. After all it is a free market economy and shouldn't be subsidized by government. (I'd also be for withdrawing the subsidies for Amtrac, get profitable or good bye. $40 billion over the last 4 decades. Has NEVER made a profit)

More specifically the outrage over the Solyndra deal is the fact that the WH had people on STAFF on the inside, pushing for this HUGE grant/loan/donation/ gift that was actually crony payback for votes bought by the Obama administration. If that weren't bad enough, BEFORE they received this cash infusion from the taxpayers they announced opening of a new plant in Mexico where much of the job creation and manufacturing of solar panels would take place. (and yes the WH knew this in advance of the transaction)

I hope 'Fast and Furious' breaks before the election also. Has anyone heard anything lately about F&F? Mike.

Fast & Furious? You think 150 Million people who don't pay income taxes give a s___ about a few dead border agents? The average Independent (read: politically ignorant) voter thinks Fast & Furious is the name of a movie.

As far as Democrats are concerned, all dead border agents means is that a few new Federal job postings just opened up ("Hooray! Maybe now I can get transferred to Arizona to dispatch or shuffle paperwork for a year before I retire! Wouldn't that be great, Mabel?").

Stuff like Solyndra shows why we just need to STARVE the Federal Government. Keep gridlock in place, and don't allow "The Beast" to get any new revenue AT ALL. If projects like this are the reason we're selling our future to China, F- it. It seems like the only reason we're trying to keep the Federal Government solvent is so the Assistant to the Assistant Undersecretary of Energy for New Technology Procurement (and her highly-diverse staff of 975 numbnuts) can continue to pad their Federal retirements.

The next green energy LOSER funded by the WH has hit the skids with taxpayers money in their pocket. Evergreen Energy, another solar panel scammer, filed for bankruptcy earlier this week. They got 5.9 million. All that's left to do now is pay the employees and BOD members their bonuses.

As usual the media has managed to keep this out of the news.

    Well done Barry.
