So I was eating lunch in Oklahoma City today and upon opening my fortune cookie, this is what it said:

"El Pajaro temprano recibe el gusano"

I thought this was America! What's up with that??

For those interested it translates to " The early bird receives the worm"

The actual translation is, "The fowl you just ate had worms."

I wouldn't go back! The Chinese restuarant I frequent has the little nap whipes...all wrapped up in the American Flag.....MADE in the USA! I know they appreciate the business from the people in this country and they try to show it! They have a clean place and do their best to speak the best English they know.

I'll keep eating there, I think that the company they ordered the cookies from made the mistake. All other fortunes have always been in English.

Besides they make the BEST hot & sour soup and their Kung Pau Chicken is second to none!
