Did you notice in the current issue of Trap and Field that I did not make the All American team? This makes 45 straight years that I have attained this goal. Neal W. did make the team.

Pat, ya think it's because he tells us to pattern our guns at 13 yards while he's actually doing his at 34? :) Hap

Got mine Friday. Does my heart good to see all those youngsters doing so well. Like Pat, I'm still on my record of not getting there yet.

Congratulations to Families who share the All American list such as the Vendels, Ohyes, and Snellenbergers to name a few. It's tough enough for one family member to make the team but for two, that's awsome.

Got mine in Anchorage, AK on Friday, Feb 1.

Ya'll make sure you see the ad for the Alaska State shoot and come on up!

We shot Saturday at zero degrees F, 300 birds. Had 15 folks.

jeff- I have decided not to come up and shoot with you. I fear that if I did, I would surely die from hypothermia and get buried in your land. I, at least, want a warm grave.

    Well, pat, doggone it....

How's about this for a deal: You come up and shoot the state shoot in JULY with us. If it's not at least 60 degrees during the day, I'll pay for half your targets out of my own pocket.

And if by some chance you freeze to death in July, I know a FedEx pilot and we can get a good deal on shipping you home - and I'll pay THAT out of my own pocket too!

My only condition is this: If, by some miracle, you DO survive the trip, you have to promise that you'll spread the word far and wide about how good the shoot was, how nice the folks are and what a good time you had.

But if you die, I get to keep the gun you brought with you. So don't bring your best one!

    jeff
