I started shooting Caps April 2009 after shooting quite a few years of Singles only. I must tell you its been a very slow learning process for me. For some stupid reason that extra 4yds has been a nightmare for me. Well, today at the Fall Classic at WSRC/Sparta i won the Handicap Championship short yardage and the high overall score in the pouring down rain and 15mph NW wind. Now my score wasn't all that impressive but nor was anybodies. 25, 24, 24, 20(don't ask me what happened last rnd). Yep 93 won it all. I was tickled to death and shocked i won. I really thought i would never get a punch. I must have the record for most handicap targets shot at from the starting yardage(20) with no punch. Now if i could figure out how to repeat my first three rounds. LOL----Matt

Great now you are moving. Sometimes a certain yardage becomes a mental block and you just can't get off it for a time. Mine was the 22.

Nice job. Please do not make the mistake I have made many times. After shooting a good score, I have sometimes thought that I has the game figured out and I did not have to work hard to break another nice score.

DON---i hope your right and mine was the 20. Maybe i freed the wheels up now and they'll start rolling.

Pat---Trust me, i have nothing figured out but i do know what you mean.

I honestly think the rain and wind kept me from over-thinking the situation. That may be one of my biggest problems "thinking too much". Thanks guys and gal. LOL-----Matt

    Hey Matt-

Congrats on getting a punch. I'm 26.5, and I will be doing my best to try to make the 27 this week @ Missouri.
