I own a Browning cenergy classic. Is there a good grease out there that I can
use that will not wear out the monoblock

STOS may not be the best. But it sure has been the one to measure against for a long time. KISS. Just get the STOS. Jake

I am a distributor for CMD Gunlube. It is the darndest stuff I have ever used. I have a little over 2000 rounds through a Cynergy, and about 250,000 rounds through a K-80. Neither one are anywhere near being loose.

A tube goes a long way.

I don't make jack on it. When a SCTP kid comes to the club with a new O/U, he generally gets a free tube.

CDM Great for release triggers. But for other uses, especially in cold weather, it can get too stiff. And I know stiff.

CMD in the fire control group will slow things down. I like Ballistol for lube. I will say my guns do not get neglected in the upkeep department.

Can anyone suggest a bad lube for a gun? What lube will not protect against two metals lightly rubbing against each other a few hundred times? Simple motor oil will protect metals rubbing against each other a few million times under high pressure and temperatures. How many times do the gears rotate under a ton of pressure in the rear end of an automobile before the lube is changed?

Hap- An advantage of your lubricant selection is that you can also use it in your lawn mower. The lawn mower does place more demands on a lubricant than does your gun.
