    Nice! I've always wanted to take a road trip to the Dakotas for pheasant hunting. My father and grandfather hunted a lot of pheasants outside of Bismarck before WWII. We have very few wild pheasants here in Oregon. Most are game farm releases, and are either in the overcrowded and under-released game preserves (ie too many hunters not enough pheasants) or are at very expensive private hunting areas.

    I like the dog's name. Do you have another named Sturm?

    Brian...you need to get out of the valley an go to the eastern side. I have shot 52 birds this year over my shorthairs
