Goldenrod dehumidifier life

    How long should one of these last? Do they burn out like a light bulb? I have one that has been in continuous use for a little over 10 years and it is still working.

    theroticly it should last forever it never shuts off same as a litebulb would if it was never turned off, ever notice the bulbs blow only when you turn them on? as far the electrical most newer safes have factory acess or prewired for exterinial plug-in.
