We have experienced and fixed many problems but this one is different. The machine is a singles wobble trap. It will windmill ( keep throwing targets) but if you turn off the power for a few minutes, It will work ok for a few minutes then start windmilling again? Almost seems like soemthing is getting hot and then it fails until it cools???

I touch on this on another thread here about a similar problem...

First place to look is inside the power switch box - there are two power lines covered there - standard 110V and 24V. The 24V holds the release mechanism in place - when the circuit is opened the target is released.

Check the switch for rust/corrosion. With use heat could build and let the circuit fail 'open.'

Next likely spot would be a problem within the main control box itself - same type of issue - water or corrosion.

I have added the link to the GMV website. Check more than one manual - the photos and troubleshooting guides are better in some than others.

Thx guys for the help. I think I fixed it by adjusting the micro switch and also cleaning the electro magnetic part that stops the arm. It was full of crud. Only use will tell but I shot 75 birds and it operated fine. Last time I had this it was water in the control box so that was the first thing I checked.
