GMAG, What choke does the barrel have? A good full choke at 13 yds would normally leave a ragged hole making pellet counting virtually impossible.

Never mind percentages, Esp at the 13 yd range. Get that thing shooting about 3 inches high at 13 yds, that should give you roughly 6 inches high at 40.

FYI ... why are you looking at the rib and beads in the first place? You should be looking at the target and if you cant see the target than ... well ... you really do not know what your doing do you.

You have a monte carlo stock and an adjustable butt pad which you might want to consider getting rid of and ... well with an adjustable butt pad why in the hell would you have to shim the stock to adjust your POI? Why not just adjust the pad?

Find somebody in your area who knows what there doing with stocks and ask them in person for some help. This just goes to prove the point that you can buy and do many things to your gun but if your not sure what your doing you shouldn't be wasting your money trying to buy a better score.

GMAG Don't shim your stock. With an 1100 you will bind the action bar and spring or crack the tube they ride in OR crack the stock. Just build up the top of the comb. After you put your stock back where it belongs try about 1/4" of any soft to the cheek material to start. FORGET the middle bead. With your cheek on the raised piece and the front bead just touching your aim point fire at least 4 shots to get a good idea of where the center of the pattern is hitting (if at normal range) if at 13 yards you will probably need to shoot once on each of several targets to make sure you didn't just pull your single shot off. If you are still too low add a little more on top of the comb if you are too high take a little off. Just a quick rule of thumb not percise but very close. Every 1/8" change to the comb should be about 3-4 inch of change in your pattern at 30 yards.
