For all those who were yukking it up over the Toyota and Honda recalls, now it's GM's turn, again. Have at it....

And the Congressional hearings will start in - oh, wait, Obama owns GM now so they are not needed. (sarc)

I love how they say it tends to happen to vehicles out of warranty. I had to pay to have one replaced on my 2005 Cobalt SS. The car was 4 years old but it only had 23k on it. That was an 800 dollar job. I asked them if there was a recall, they said no. The funny thing about it was that I had to wait 3 wks to have it fixed because there were no power steering motors available. Notice I said motor, not pump.

The recall also says that steering will just be difficult at low speeds. That is the understatement of the year for a car with 18 inch wheels.

At one time GM had branded cars made by Suzuki and Toyota... any more?!
