OK, now I got a math question here I can't answer without some help!!!! If I can get 400 one oz. loads out of a 25 pound bag of shot, and I can get 800 l/2 oz. loads out of a different 25 pound bag of shot. How come I don't get 600 loads out of a 3/4 oz. load??????????????????????????????????????????? I told you there is something magical about the 28 ga. loads. Math says its 533 loads. Where does the missing 67 loads go. ???????????????????????????????????????Break-em all. Jeff

Pat: I fixed the blopper just for you.

Pull & Mark- If you get 400 1oz loads from a bag of shot, you will get 0 1/2 oz loads from the same bag because you will have already used the shot in the 1oz loads.

400/1 = 400, 400/.5 = 800 and 400/ 3/4 = 533. If you want to get 600 shells loaded you will have to use 2/3 of an ounce of shot in each shell. HMB
