Has anybody had them build a custom fitted stock for them? Has anyone been fit by them? Sure seem like nice people.

Don't know about the stock work, but they are super people to deal with. Have known and dealt with them for years, ever since we had our store back in the 70s. They are honest and do great work. Jeff Philipbar

I know they do it. It's on their website. I'm looking for personal experiences.

I don't see it on their website, and I've never heard of Dan or Giacomo ever "custom" making stocks.

Generally they could measure you and have Perazzi make you a stock....

[8) Do you carry stocks and barrels?

Yes, we have stocks and barrels available and we can also custom order them as well.]

Wenig did a custom stock for a friend of mine. She fits him like a glove and his scores reflect it. He said it was well worth the money and he would do it again. He had a soft touch put in it as well when it was being built. Super nice rig.

Dennis DeVault custom fitting with shooting of pattern stock to make sure everything is spot on. A more personal experience IMHO. Wenig is outstanding also but Dennis and crew are very precise.

I did. They started with a blank that was already inletted for an MX-8, but otherwise a rough block. Dan fitted me based on what he saw, and what I said, based on trying a couple of stocks he had around the shop. He listened very well to my requirements about the grip area and palmswell.

His brother ended up making the stock. The checkering was nicely done, the finish was lacquer. I was very impressed with the results. The stock fit me like a glove and there isn't anything I would change.

I don't have any close-ups but this shows the gun:
