    yep two tom 1st 21.5# 9.5 beard 1" spurs 2nd 20# 11" beard 1.25 spurs. Zimmie

    Got my first longbeard this year. 18.5 pounds with 5/8 and 7/8 inch spurs.

    The NY State season opens on May 1. I will be out then.

    I did kill a nice one on the GA opener the end of March this year, 22 lbs, 10 1/2" beard, 1 1/4" spurs.

    They be gobbling, thumping and struting around here most 'bout every morning. Just about a nusiance to my late AM sleep..... Still, I sure enjoy hearing them as they go on their own particular version of "Spring Break".

    fourth year in a row that my dad i have doubled up on toms dad turned 88 on sat 4/23/11 turns him into a kid again got to love it

    Finally stopped raining long enough to get out and chase them around. Had a good morning yesterday.

    You have got to love those Merrium's turkeys in South Dakota. This is only the third year in the last thirteen that I have not been in South Dakota hunting the hills. Tim Hall down in Alabama.

    I got my last turkey yesterday, one a week in Missouri, the first one was 23 lb, with a 10" beard, over one inch spurs, the second one was 21 lbs, 11" beard, with over 1" spurs.

    The first one, came in after he saw the decoys, no calling, and the second one was with a jake, and 4 hens coming to the decoys, didn't have to use any calling on either one.
