Gas prices are predicted around the $3.00 a gallon mark by May.

Where are all the liberal a**hol#s now? Why aren't they screaming Bush's buddies (the Saudis) and him are selling us out?

Where are all the high gas price nuts now?

We know it has to be the presidents fault right.

Why fight drilling off shore until it's turn in the hot box?

Why is oil so important now and not then?

    The silence is defining.

    Rock

But its Bush's fault. I read an article about how big oil is more connected with Obama than either Bush or Chenney.

    RE: $4.37 in Montreal

    Cal,

Travel down to the SCFC (near Swanton, Vt) to shoot trap/skeet and you will find gas prices at least $0.10 - $0.15 under the $3 paid in the Plattsburgh area.

There is also a couple of stations that promote $0.05 off on Thursdays if you know where to look. Just happens to be one of the days the club is open. I travel to the club via the Rouses Point bridge and see two gas stations making the offer.

I have not been there yet this year, but I think they charge $3.50 a round.

You would be shooting for free if you come down with a empty tank and gas in Vermont.

THANK GOD that our illustrious commander-in-chief is fulfilling his campaign promise to end the country's dependence upon foreign oil.

I haven't enough fingers to count the "pie-in-the-sky" promises this clown made to the Middle Class while marching into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I certainly have YET to see any of the relief he promised.

No wonder they all drive Minis.

6 Pounds equals $9.21 US, today.

    Hopefully it's an Imperial gallon.

If I were a speculator in the commodities market I would speculate the price of gas is going up, just like everyone here. And that is why it will go up. There is plenty of oil around, refineries are running at less than max. Gas should be cheap! crazy

Farmers should go back to raising food not fuel additives. Look at what the "big ethanol" push has done for our "oil independence"....NOT A FK THING but raise the price of everything made from corn products. Yet petroleum products and motor fuels have done nothing but steadily rise since the start of the "ethanol trend"

Drill here, drill now, pay less. Pretty simple unless your an elected official with an IQ around the same as the outside temp during winter.

Ethonal is a total fraud. It takes more energy to grow corn and produce ethanol than it produces. Since all the speculation for making corn into oil, feed prices went through the roof. Thats why chicken costs as much as pork did and pork costs as much as good beef used to. And even a mediocure steak costs twice as much, and I even live in TEXAS. I do not even know what meat prices are where it has to be shipped in, I feel sorry for all the families that are having problems buying groceries. Even with all that, Gas is getting more expensive. Ethanol is not the answer, it is just a feel good sucker bet.

The thing that worries me is - what is the price of fuel going to be when the Arabs get tired of taking our printing press dollar? We just can't keep printing money, and expect people to take it in exchange for real products.
