Southwest Ohio seen gas for $2.99, been awhile since we seen that!! Hard to believe hurricanes coming and price is still going down. Makes you think the election might just have something to do with it! Probably just another coincidence.

The Obama administration is doing everything it can to cover up issues and make it appear the economic future looks rosie.

Too bad the stuff [gas] has a much decreased shelf life than years back. Would be great to load the truck up...per say.

The Wal-Marts in our area have 10 cents off per gallon if you use a Wal-Mart gift card. I believe it goes through 12-31-2012.

3.99 gas for the first time since the big jump in San Diego County today, and falling fast. Tell me the political operators aren't colluding with the California Air resources Board and EPA to make this happen.

Unfortunately we are a swing state Pretzel - NV. It is just 6 electoral votes but the state went to the big O last time mainly because of the liberal voters in Las Vegas. Hope we do better this time around - it is supposedly going to be close.

Yea, whats up with the diesel? $4.27 gal here in No. MN. My understanding is diesel costs less in Europe than gas...even though both are higher than here, and that their diesel comes from the US.

According to Jughead, gas was $1.87 when he was elected "because we were in a recession". So I guess we're headed for another recession?

GunDr, I have always thought that diesel was cheaper to produce than gasoline. But the truckers are easier to sock it to because most pass the cost on to us the consumer. This sure looks like an attempt to buy a few votes by the Obama administration.
