I love the garage sale idea, but I am getting a little lost in the volume. What do you think about a new garage sale every week? Maybe start it on a Monday, Fridiay, etc.

Better idea. The other thread takes much too long to load just to check for newly-listed items.

What do you mean clear the deck every week or two are you saying wipe it all out and start over just like after a big crash.

Sure hope not there would be a lot of good info lost and the search feature would be useless.

Why not ask admin to create a second "classified" or even "Garage Sale" board for people to post anything they wish to sell with the possibility of letting the original poster change the subject line so one the item is sold the subject line could be changed to ... "SOLD"-Pink Skeet Skirt.

This way there is a separate place for all the people trying to sell something.

There should be no reason that David could make a "sticky" at the top that says "Garage Sale" and when your item is gone delete it from the sticky.
There are 3 up there now.

Putting it in the sticky area is good. Or numbering them, GS1, GS2, etc. that way anyone who wanted could go back to check stuff.
