1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Hi all;

    New member, first posting. I have a Gamba 496 Trap (single 34" barrel)that has a broken trigger spring. Does anyone here have any idea who may have these? One of the members at our club here in Hamilton, Ontario was gracious enough to take the spring with him to the U.S. for a couple of shoots to see if one could be located; no luck as of yet. I may end up getting one made, but thought I'd try to see if one exists out there first.

    Thanks,

    Lewis.

    Did you try Dennis Delcamp at 716-792-4867? I shoot an old Gamba Edinborough Match trap gun and Dennis seems to be the only game in town.

    Hi, guys;

    Thanks for the replies - I haven't checked in for a while. I spoke with Dennis a while back, and would look forward to his input again. I finally made some time to work on my 496 Trap and got he receiver apart. The v-spring is missing half....but I will post pics tomorrow to see if there is something available. Marcello - thanks. Any help would be appreciated. The gun is identical to the one in the pics on the Abercrombie / Fitch thread from Nov 26.

    Lou.

    Lou, I believe that F. Gamba the maker of your gun (altough related to)is not the same as Renato Gamba who still manufactures shotguns. Sincerely, Joe S.

    Lou, I suggest you stay in contact with Marcello, not just for this spring, for your future parts needs.

    This is one piece of advise you'll thank me for years. :)
