The biggest day in trapshooting...who's going to win it?

Would be great to get round by round updates of the 100k shootout too!

If those top scores hold out the way they show in that pic, then once again the way the category rule works, the second best score of the Event WILL NOT be the Runner Up. Stupid! The 99 would be forced to take Sub-Junior.
That's is the part of the rule that really needs to be changed!

    Nice shooting, Mr. Herdes!

You're assuming the Sub Junior would want to be Runner-Up instead of Sub Junior Champion. If that was he case, he wouldn't have declared Sub Junior.

Scott, what would happen if Mr Herdes hadn't shot enough of the handicaps to qualify for the $100,000 shootoff and young Mr Kirk was Sub Jr champ, would a 98 be in for the shootoff as runnerup?

What pool are you talking about? As I understand, you must win a handicap event and shoot in at least 4 handicap events.

Jim, I think it goes right down from Champ, Runner-up, third, fourth.

    V10,

I am not assuming anything. I am just saying that the top 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 scores(however many places are in the Event) SHOULD be the top 1, 3, 5, 10, or 15 scores.
What makes it so difficult to then give that youngster who shot the 98 the Champ points for SJ for AA points?
I have stated before and will until it's changed, that it is simply WRONG to not have the top scores get the top places (and accordingly added money!) in any Event.
It doesn't seem to take a degree in advanced calculus to figure this out. It should be a matter of getting it right, rather than getting this cleaned up as quickly as possible, even if it's wrong on the face of things.
