How do clubs handle the youth inexperinced shooters??? At our last shoot there was one 8 year old whom was just a little taller than his very nice 20 guage SEMI AUTO shootgun. Could not remember to unload it. NOT good.

Is there age limits, ban autos, ect.

We have taught 100's of kids how to shoot, gun safty, ect.

How would your club handle this?????????? HELP Steve

We would insist that this shooter be overseen by a parent or if they are incapable a safety officer until they have proven themselves. Take to a vacant field, set the targets on straight,(no oscillation) make sure he understands the operation of his gun before permitting him to load & stress SAFETY for him and all around him. Who knows, you might be starting another Little Leo on the road to a champion.

As shooter numbers are declining maybe WE as shooter need to step up and assist no matter the age.
