1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Alrighty, another one up for sale:

I want that Valmet that Pointer has for sale, so I have to let something go...
(P.S. if the Valmet sells before this does, then I may pull this off the market...unless someone has another 412ST up for grabs ;) )

30" Trap grade Winchester Super X-1, bought in Sept 2011 for 675 :)D) from a guy who's dad was thinning the collection. Was advertised as an XTR grade, and judging from the wood, he may have been right (?).

84xxx Serial, Stage 3 trigger, stainless mag tube. Full Trap barrel, no screw. factory pad and LOP.

Wrights Buffer and o-ring (currently has a newer generic o-ring a buddy gave me) were put in before I shot it.

To date, have put approximately 1033 rounds through it since it's been in my possession (I'll check the spreadsheet to be sure).

    The caveats:

I have not removed the mag tube nor cleaned it out - so who knows how much dirt is in there...I've had a couple of shells go too far in and get stuck, so it may need a new mag spring.

There's a bit of play in the forend.

The recoil spring on this thing is STIFF. the last 150 3dram Gun clubs I ran thru it cycled fine, but early on I could not cycle anything consistently but Handicap loads such as Nitro 27s or 3 1/4 dram game loads. May be due to the fact that it was reportedly barely shot and sat in a safe for years...however with 1k rounds through it and since the gun clubs cycled fine...it seems like it's breaking in, but again, this thing slams the bolt shut with authority.

*Will include new Wright's recoil spring*

The last shoot it was at (the last time I shot it) was on the 26th of August... while cleaning it back at the truck, I found out that I had split the inner piston ring in two! EDIT: it's the piston retainer ring..

*will include new piston retainer ring from Nuline*..will be installed before gun is shipped

There's of course the requisite nicks and dings on the stock, plus some wear around the barrel, inside of the receiver, bolt, etc (see pics).

That's moleskin on the stock which can be removed...for me it helped me get a decent fig. 8 off the barrel...the Birchwood Casey shell catcher is on with double sided tape... I kind of don't like it because it doesn't reliably catch the hulls (after two adjustments it still doesn't), but maybe some more adjustment is in order.

The front bead is slightly skewed (was like it when I bought it).

The rib is a bit loose along the middle portion of the barrel. Hasn't been a problem though, and I've shot it like that since I bought it.

I'd rather not part her out; she deserves to be tinkered with and shot.

Honestly, while this is a heckuva gun, this one's given me some headaches as specified above. Plus I actually like the old Beretta A30x series a bit more...so alas, this one's up for grabs.

Does $555 Shipped to your FFL in the lower 47 (your FFL must accept from an individual)sound okay? - if you're from CA then local (socal) sales preferred.

No box, but will wrap the barrel and the receiver section in newspaper, then place it in a Cabela's 36" takedown case, then wrap it in bubble wrap, then box up with foam peanuts and foam, and send UPS ground-insured.

    Pics to follow:

    UPDATE: SPF see below;)

Those shell catchers work fine with surgical tubing slipped over the wire!
