1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

FS Remington cap and ball-the real thing

    Remington .44 cal. cap and ball. Barrel marked Pat. Sept. 14 1858 E. Remington & Sons, Ilion, New York, USA. Ser #16XXX. "New Model". This gun was undoubtly used in the Civil War. It is 100% original but shows lots of wear. Seems to be mechanically excellent. Refer to American Rifleman November 2003. $1350. Serious inquiries to email above. I can send pics.     I had one when I was in College, but running short of cash I had to sell it!

    That was almost 50 years ago! Sure wish I had it back now!
