1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

THE PAIR OF 1100 SKEET GUNS HAVE BEEN SOLD!....Pending Funds

For Sale: RARE PAIR OF REMINGTON 1100 Tournament Skeet Guns

    <img src=http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/3385873/aview/rempairA.jpg>

Gun Number One: Tournament Skeet 410 Gauge

This rare 1100, has Blued receiver with 25” vented rib barrel with Fixed Skeet Choke. I would rate the metal at A very conservative 97%.

The straight stock and forearm has some nice grain and has a very few small handling marks, which you can barley see. L.O.P. is approximately 14”. I would rate the wood at A very conservative 97%.

This fantastic shotgun comes in its original factory box.

Gun Number Two: Tournament Skeet 28 Gauge

This rare 1100, has Blued receiver with 25” vented rib barrel with Fixed Skeet Choke. I would rate the metal at A very conservative 97%.

The straight stock and forearm has some nice grain and has a very few small handling marks, which you can barley see. L.O.P. is approximately 14”. The plastic butt plate is not fitted to the gun as well as I would have liked. It may be a replacement, but I am not sure. I would rate the wood at A very conservative 97%.

PLEASE CHECK OUT ALL THE PHOTO’S…YOU WON”T BE DISSAPIONTED!

Very fair price for two nice guns. Even if you don't shoot skeet, they'd be a hoot for quail.

Maybe Rare is the wrong word to use...How about scrace?..There aren't two many of the early model 1100 Tournament Skeet guns around, especially in this condition and in the 410 and 28 gauge. These are early fixed skeet choked guns. I haven't seen to many of these gauge guns for sale, except on the gun list, there are a few, that the selling price is $995.00 each.

    Thanks,

    Stu Gabriel (MrGun)

IF THEY WERE A "MATCHED SERIAL NUMBER PAIR" THEY WOULD BE CONSIDERED "RARE" AND COMMAND
    HEFTY PRICE.

I am not sure such a thing exists.

Matched pair skeet guns from 35 or so years ago did not have matched or consecutive numbers. They were stamped "Matched Pair Number XXXX" on the left side of the receiver. they were standard grade guns, Tournaments were not made yet.

They came in a green case with a certificate from the factory telling the year and month of manufacture.

I am unaware of matched serial number pairs.

These are the late guns . Gone is the High gloss wood along with the engraving and they probably do not have the Diamond grip cap. Still bring good money. Jeff

That's a high price for both the $ 391 and the Ruger. I'd look elsewhere for a better deal.
