1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I'm not skeet man, but I do find the stock looks more parallel than I would expect from a skeet model--but again I'm no expert.

That butt stock wood is absolutely wonderful.

    3 options:

    1. The barrel is not original to the receiver.

    2. The stock is not original to the gun.

    3. The gun was custom ordered with a monte carlo stock.

Remington might have records as to the original configuration if you call them.

The numbers on the barrel, receiver and sundry parts should match to be all original. No numbers on the wood though.

    A handsome gun regardless.

Also for future reference, please do NOT engrave your anything on a firearm.

Having owned three 1 of 1000's, two trap and one skeet, I recall the serial number of the trap guns began with a "T" and the skeet gun began with a "S".
