1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    FS: Perazzi/Briley MX-8 Barrel - 28 inches - Type III

Up for sale is a set of O/U barrels in beautiful condition with no problems to report. This is a hybrid set of barrels. Briley took a Perazzi MX-8 monoblock with a date code of AE (1979) to which they sleeved a set of Briley 28 inch barrels and attached a Type III lug. They did a great job and it's tough to tell that they are not completely original.

They are 28" in length, un-ported, with an 11mm wide flat rib, and weigh 1.37 kg. The barrels have factory long forcing cones, a factory bore of .740 in the top tube and .742 in the bottom. The barrels come with two Briley Skeet choke tubes.

I bought the barrels for hunting, that’s not happening, so up for sale they go. They would also make a great set of carrier barrels for Skeet.

Price is $1,150, including shipping. Complete refund if not as described. Thanks, John

    Hi Hilton55
I have a couple of Questions about you barrels.
Are the chokes removable or were they removable and are now stuck in the barrels?
Are there one or two beads on the rib?
Are the boars bright and shiny?
Are there any defects not mentioned in the text.
    Thank You so much.

    Ken,
thanks for your questions. These barrels are in outstanding condition, no dings or defects of any kind. The bores are bright and shiny, the removable Briley choke tubes have no corrosion at all and are easy to remove. The rib has two beads, a standard front bead and a brass bead at the mid rib. These barrels have not had much use at all since Briley did their work.
    John
