1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.
  2. Attention: We have put together a thread with tips and a tutorial video to help with using the new software. Please take a moment to check out the thread here: Trapshooters.com Tutorial & Help Video.

For sale is a very nice MX2000 receiver and forearm iron that I got from Rich Bullard eariler this year. I decided to go a different route with this project so it is now for sale. This set was sent to Phillip's Gunsmithing for freshening and reblue when I bought it. It has new firing pins from Jim Flynn and it appears that it has a new locking block as well. 118,xxx serial number. The breech face is nice and flat, ready for your barrels to be fitted. This is a perfect match to the other parts Rich has for sale. Very nice condition. See pictures below, contact me if you want more pics.

I uploaded some additional pictures to my Photobucket account:

I have an engraved MX2000 trigger for sale too that I was using for this build. $750 for a mint condition trigger, pictures on the website above. Pristine with just a few marks from sliding it in and out of the receiver. Newer serial number, 136,xxx as you can see in the photos.

Not a bad place to live. I moved up from San Diego, also not a bad place to live, but there are a lot more shooting venues up here. If you ever make it out here, I can show you around. I have a small 150 bottle wine collection myself:)

Anyone interested in the MX2000 parts can contact me by PM or offline at aaron-dot-valdes-at-cox-dot-net. I would like to get on to my next project so I hope these can find a good home.

If you haven't tried the Fratelli Perata Winery you are missing one of the best family owned and operated wineries in the State. Great reds, and a wonderful group.

I love that receiver, wish I could pick it up!

Hard to say exactly what year it was made without the barrels. The proof mark is on the bottom of the barrels. I think you could safely say it is newer than '99, as I think that was the first year the MX2000 was introduced. I am not the original owner, as I said I just bought it earlier this year. My other MX2000 is a 133,xxx and it was made in 2005.

Thanks Rich, I think the new owner will be pretty happy with it as well.
