1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

1953 Model 12, 12 gauge, 30" Factory rib, Milled receiver, for sale. The gun is all original. Wood gets a 98%. Took pictures outside to pull out the flaws in the blueing. Pics of receiver reflect them. The barrel is excellent inside and out. LOP is 14.5", 1,5/8" drop at comb, 2" drop at heel.

Tried to post pics, when i hit enter we'll see if i was successful. If not heres the photobucket link to see them (cut and paste in new browser window):

Asking $1200 plus S&H. More than likely going to the Ohio State shoot in a couple weeks if you want to meet in person. PM me if interested with Model 12 in the description. Mike

Okay taking the pictures outside wasnt very smart. Thanks for the advice. Added 4 more inside which shows the pictures you requested. notice how the wood looks different as well. PS - ignore the reflection of the ugly wall border. Didnt say i had good taste in decorating.

Would it make more sense to reblue the receiver? I got it in a trade for the Perazzi i had a few months ago for sale.

6 of 1 or half dozen of another...refinishing tends to hurt value as much as the blem...up to you but probably best to let next owner decide that

Calvin I agree. My gunsmith thinks there wear mark is a result of acidity from someone's hands that didnt wipe the gun down before it was put in a safe for a period of time. Its too tight and the wood is too good to have been shot that much.

Nice two pin with a blemish for $1000 is better than one that has been repaired. I notice that you didn't picture the butt. I wonder why.

Will add a pic of the butt. Has factory pad on it. Wood is excellent. Only blemish is the mark left from the acidic finger print of the original owner who didnt wipe it down prior to storage. Had an offer of $1000 at the Ohio Shoot on Saturday but declined thinking I could get an extra buck. Got greedy. Took this gun plus cash in trade for the TMX I sold. I have 4 other m12s. Dont need 2 1 year apart. Blue book for this gun and features is $1200 @ 80% its much better than 80 for sure. Glad to hear reblueing the receiver seems lime the correct thing to do
