1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

The LOP looks to be short. What is the maximum length adjustment of the Gracoil? What is the bore dimension and choke constriction? Thanks.

The LOP will travel to 15" with the current 5/8 pad. I will need to check on the other info.

I just purchased one that is almost identical, do any factory loads, REAL brass bases, or anything other than steel, hand up on the thing?? (Not kick out) I can get a real score going, and then.......the gun goes sticky. I really mean that I could honestly break in the mid 90's, or better (26 1/2) if I did not have to drop a "shell dropper outer" about every 10-15 shots, what does one do, when a perfect score is in reach??? I love the gun, but what do you do??
I thought I had found a gun that would get me where I could cause some long yardage folks some real trouble, but it's causing me some real sleepless nights. Thank You

What factory loads are you shooting? I shoot Rem STS (new and reload) and Old AA reloads. Never a problem with those. I do know guys have trouble with Winchester super target, Keman, and Diana factory loads.

I am interested, but would still like to know the choke constriction. I expect it is .030 or .035 but would like to know for sure. I shoot a full choke at all times, singles and handicap, so, even with fixed choke, could do double duty for my purposes. This is an important point, at least for me.

    Jimborn.

Not to hijack this thread, but I wanted address your question about sticky hulls in your Ljutic. My pre-1200 s/n will stick virtually all steel hull Winchesters, yet I can get by with Rem Gun Clubs MOST of the time. Same with Estates. All of these are steel rimmed hulls.

I have never had a AA hull new or reloaded stick and so only use these for my Ljutic. I haven't tried Ren Nitro or STS, but I suspect they would pose no issues either as they, too, are all brass rimmed.

Ljutic factory and Briley offer a fix, but I did the math and it would take too many rounds of cheap hulls to make up for the initial cost and I am not going to shoot cheap factory in tounaments, anyway. If you reload, it is a non-issue. Just shoot brass rimmed hulls that you can reload more easily and cheaper than Wally World "cheapie factory steel shells and you will be shooting better loads anyway. Then use the premium rounds for tourneys (or once or twice fired hulls and your favorite reload recipe).

You own a "majic wand". Just feed it accordingly.

    Good luck,

    HBT

I called Ljutic for my brother to get the following information that has been requested. Choke Constriction is .035, .705 Choke, .740 Bore, 70/30 POI, Lengthened Forcing Cones. This came directly from Ljutic. Gun manufactured in 2000, last serviced in 2006. Hope this answers many of the questions. I know he's my brother but this gun is immaculate and well taken care of. Believe me he is anal about his stuff! Good luck Steve.
