1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Gloss or Matte finish?

    Adjustable objective or fixed?

    Letter in the serial number?

The letter in the serial number that indicates the date of manufacture. The letter is at the beginning if made before before 1993, at the end if after 1993.

.45auto? No. This is a rifle scope. I have the same scope on a model 70 in 3006. Would be appropriate on just about any gun from a varmint gun to a big game rifle. I like it because I prefer the higher power and the adjustable objective, but that's me. It's the same length as an entry level Leupold 3x9 at 12" and would have a 1" tube. Not a bad deal if in new condition, as this price is about as low as they get for a used one. They're about $700 new.

I "gave" one of these to Tron

You should ask him about those scopes -- I think he liked his unless he just resold it- which would break my heart
