1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have this model High Standard, and it's my favorite handgun, although my S&W Model 52 is close.

How about the ones made in Hamden? Better or worse?

Take a look at the Hamden Trophy models 102s, 103s, 104s and 106s. Some of them are so finely finished they look like the blue is poured on. Some of the ML numbered guns look very good also and the one above looks to be very well finished.

These were great guns! something I just noticed, isn't it amazing how similar the browning buckmark is to the old high standard? no wonder the buckmark is so good!!

Barfin: you say that your Victors are "very good shooters with the right mag.". I assume you mean magazine? Could you elaborate please.
