1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For sale is a single head DryFire system. Unfortunately, I don’t have a good room to use it in anymore. Loved the system, great practice tool.

Included is the single head Dryfire base unit, 2 pull trigger systems (1 of them acoustic), 1 release trigger system, barrel unit, serial cable, and software. It’s everything you need to get started (aside from a good room).

    Price $800

I also have a computer pre-loaded with the Dryfire software that I would sell for $150 if you don't want to have to worry about setting up the software. It's a pretty basic Windows XP computer.

Ideally, you would have a wide room and best with 9 foot or greater ceiling. You can get by with smaller as evidenced with their demo trailer as it is really a big shipping box and is neither wide nor tall.

    4EVRYOUNG,
You need about a 10 foot box (in terms of length and width) and a minimum of about 7 foot high ceilings. As Gary mentioned, 9 is probably optimal but you could get away with about 7 feet. Also, you want some decent lighting.

Does the Dry Fire sell a specific trigger button for a release or are you calling the acoustic one for a release? Dave T.

    Hello Dave,
That's a good question. When I bought the unit, it came with one of the triggers marked pull and one of them marked release (both of them were the button activated style, I later added the acoustic). I don't have a gun with a release, so I literally have never used the release model for the Dryfire. But, I assume that there's some reason they are marked separately.

You can use either trigger system in the pull or release mode. It only takes about 45 seconds to change from one mode to the other.

I have a Dry Fire. Just got a release trigger and the Acoustic trigger doesn't work that well with it. Their web-site doesn't show a trigger for a release. Just curious what you may have that I don't. Excellent system though.

I'm interested in the dryfire system but after checking there site they have a version 3 single head system for 798.00. Can I assume yours is 800.00 because of extras you may have with it.

    Thanks Paul

    Hi Paul,
Thanks for the message. Unless I'm reading something incorrectly, I'm seeing the single head system new for $950 (see link above, that is what I based my used price off of). And, I do have an extra trigger (acoustic version, $130) that you get for the $800 price.

However, I'm definitely open to any offer so feel free to make me whatever you feel is a fair offer and I'll definitely consider it.

You do not need 2 types of trigger new ones convert from pullnto release and back again. Great system!
