1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    lou-a few years ago, it was posted on the forum what letters were for POI, but darned if i can find it (thot i'd saved it)!!

    looking at rib slope, i think your right--

    i've owned this gun for 3 years and never shot it-it was for my duaghter but she went with the same grade but O/U i had-

    A 1976 cover article in American Shotgunner Magazine stated that the then new BT-99 Competition Model was designed to shoot 10 inches high at 40 yards. The high shooters had serial numbers RT and RR in 1976 and 1977; after that Browning lowered the POI by putting less downward slope on the rib by request from non back fence shooters. Your RP was made in 1978 and was not a high shooter.
