1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    Hi,

I have a set of Briley Companion tubes in 28 gauge (12 ga --> 28 ga) for sale. The tubes are 25.5" long, so will work with 26" or 28" barrels. Both tubes have skeet chokes. I've used them a few times in my Beretta 686.

You will see a little scuffing near the back end of the tubes where they rubbed up against the bbls. This is minor and only aesthetic. You will also see that the original knock-in/out tool included.

I'm looking to sell these for $225 shipped.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Sorry for the confusion. No, these all have screw in chokes. I have two skeet chokes, one for each tube, and that's all the chokes I have for these.

Are these 12ga to 28ga? If you can use them in a 28" bbl, what keeps them tight since they are not into the choke? Bill

Yes, they are 12ga to 28ga. The tolerance is just tight enough that they don't bounce around. I've also heard of people wrapping one strip of electrical tape around the tubes in the appropriate place if necessary.

It sounds like you are not familiar with Briley Companion tubes. You can use them with different guns, they are not fitted.

The gun I have been using these in is 28".

Honestly, I'm not sure. I know the main question is the long vs. short throw ejectors, but I have a comprehensive list of which guns have which. I suggest you call Briley. Tell them you're looking at a set of 25.5" 12ga-to-28ga Companion Tubes that were being used in a Beretta, and give them the specs for your gun.
