1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I am out of town and will get back to you on the barrel length. I bought the gun new, guessing about 5 to 6 years ago. Not sure of rib "type" as it is the original one I got with the gun. The barrel has "TRAP" marked on the side. I also have the original chokes for it.

Think he bought the trigger group used and the gun new. At least that's what I read.

Jimmyc is correct. I bought the gun at Alpine Gun club in Ft. Worth. They told me that the gun would shoot a little higher with a trap barrel so they changed it out for me. I thought I wanted to shoot trap more than SC so the change was made.

I swapped out the trigger with a ts.comer as he wanted a "slower" trigger. I fugured what the hey, it was "faster" and didn't cost me anything. He was from MN, so it may have been some local gunsmith that did it. If I remember correctly, it is a little faster, but still didn't help my game.

If there other questions, I will gladly answer.

I have finally come to the realization that my shooting ability in not in the competetive arena, but hope to continue my wild bird hunting. Have recently developed "floaters" and with every thing else going on with the grandkids etc., I just have no reason to keep these for the moment. Maybe a few years down the road, I can try to pick up again. Just other priorites at the moment.

Politics have always been a passion of mine and I will try to protect the future of my family and country as long as I draw a breath.
