    Back in August, I and 3 friends all submitted rebates for STS shells. One got an e-mail from Remington saying they had received the form, but not the rest of us.

    So, 2 days ago I went out to the Remington site and tried to use their tracking page. For the 3 of us, it said it had no info. So, I went to the spot where you could send an e-mail. So I did, asking if they could tell me the status.

    I got home yesterday & behold -- there was the check. Then I got a message from the friend who had gotten the status e-mail and his had also arrived.

    Today, I got an e-mail response from Remington saying that my check had been processed and I should receive it today or tomorrow. I then sent a message back asking about my other 2 friends. They acknowledged that the rebate forms had been received, approved, and were scheduled to be sent out in early November.

    This took a volley of about 3 or 4 e-mails back & forth, and replies from Remington were received less than an hour after my sending to them.

    So, while I know there's been a lot of frustration out there, I can't complain about the way I was treated.

    I think (hope) that as with most large manufacturers it is-- they want your business--hence the coupons and other come-ons and the hold-ups are due to who they choose to handle rebates and things of this nature. My wife used to work for one of these clearing house type operations & was always complaining that her sub-contractors were the biggest detriment to getting rebates & prizes etc. out in a timely fashion.     Your rebate check was mailed on September 26. You should be receiving it anytime
    now. If you don't receive it by next week, please let me know.

    Thank you for contacting Remington. I have forwarded this to our Marketing
    department which is over the rebate program. We will look into this and get it
    taken care of for you. We will confirm back to you as soon as it has been resolved
    to let you know the status.

    I have inquired about my remington rebate on STS shotshells several times
    and have gotten no response and the rebate system says it has no record of
    it,it has been a few months how do I go about finding out the status I
    bought the shells in good faith that the rebate was valid and did all the
    steps required by the original form,when I called they said I would need
    to provide the original sales receipt and copies of the upc labels I sent
    that info in with the rebate as required how do they expect me to
    duplicate it?Jerry

    Look people,it is very frustrating. But if you did it correctly,it will get there. I look at it as free money. I filed with AA,STS & REM all on the same day. Will be interesting to see which pops first. Yes I did pre-file for a # with REM. Got a received your rebate back. And so if it is too frustrating buy/use shells that don't have a rebate or shoot reloads. Tom Lobonc

    why have a rebate ? just reduce the shells by the rebate amount and they will
    more than likely sell more shells. win. rebate back in six weeks,fed back in seven weeks and rem. still waiting after (11) eleven weeks.

    Submitted my request in June 2011, emailed them in September, Called and wrote a letter and re-submitted in November, Got my check yesterday Dec 1st.
