Yes time does fly and once again West Chester Gun Club will be having its annual world famous, wildly popular turkey shoot. We will be shooting, November 17th and 18th, Saturday and Sunday for freshly butchered, never frozen turkeys. There will be 150 birds ready to be claimed.

The shoot will start at 11:00 on Saturday and 10:00 on Sunday. Prizes will be given out Lewis Class and there will be 4 turkey prizes for every event of 15 shooters. You can call 610-696-4418 or email pamg46@comcast.net to pre-squad.

Please note that the turkeys will be delivered on Sunday only so if you win on Saturday you will have to make arrangements to pick up the bird on Sunday.

I look forward to seeing the regulars and some new faces. Please visit our WEB site at the above link for more details and directions.

Sorry I accidentally deleted my original post while editing it :-(

If you can't shoot at West Chester on Sunday (11/18) go to the Oxford Gun Club....they're awarding "6" turkeys per 15 shooters.

    An alternative.

No disrespect Curt but do you really think it's polite to jump on this thread to promote Oxford?

With a tiny bit of effort you could start your own thread. That's the way the Wallaces would do it.

    Regards and happy Thanksgiving,

Jerry...didn't mean to jump on "YOUR" shoot...but as you have limited facilities and have eluded that the squads are filling rapidly, all I did was advise that should someone not be able to to shoot at "YOUR" facility, then the Oxford venue could accommodate them.

I do hope your shoot goes well...

Fair enough Curt but we can accomadate everyone who shows up. Sunday has, at this time, 17 events with some openings and we can run more events if there is demand.

Saturday is much lighter but turkeys will have to be picked up on Sunday since.

I still recommend pre squadding which we can still do.

Thanks for the apology and I hope you will make a guest appearance.

Although Mother Nature wasn't looking her best, it was a great shoot.

Lots of people went home with a turkey or three.
