French mle. 1935A auto welded shut?

    Obama's idea of gun control. Considering the quality of the gun, this may not have been a bad idea. LOL

    If the weld can be cut or ground off to make the gun functional, it is a handgun and has to be treated as such.

    Not trying to be cute. This firearm is best used as a paperweight. I had one over 40 years ago. It shoots a light version of the 30 cal Pederson round, made for conversion units to make a 1903 Springfield an auto rifle.

    The metal is soft, dry firing it is a sure way to break the firing pin. Workmanship and materials was mediocre.

    A French military (snicker) firearm can qualify as a war trophy?

    Oh well, there are those misguided souls who think Obama is qualified for the office of President. (groan)
