In an effort to encourage more youth to get involved in outdoor sports, the IAA Foundation announced today all youth will receive free registration for the upcoming sport shoot fundraising event on July 18, 2009.

A junior shooter is any youth 18 or under. Juniors can take part in individual competition in sporting clays or trap shoot, or juniors can participate in a three-man sporting clays team. Any junior shooter who previously paid registration fees will be reimbursed the day of the event.

Hundreds of shooters from the Midwest will join together for a great cause-increasing ag literacy through the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom program. On July 18, 2009 the IAA Foundation hosts the third annual “Pull for Agriculture Education”, a classic sporting clays and trap shooting fundraising event. Held at the world-class, state of the art, 1,600-acre World Shooting and Recreational Complex near Sparta in Randolph County, this day of fun and competition is open to all.

Among the features at this year's Pull for Agriculture Education:
    ? Buyafarm.com $500 Shoot Out
? Over $4,000 in prizes awarded
    ? Great competition

Event pricing, details and registration are available online at www.iaafoundation.org or by calling 309.557.2230.

Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom is the top funding priority of the IAA Foundation, Illinois Farm Bureau®’s charitable foundation, which funds education, research, and charitable activities that benefit Illinois farm families and agriculture.
