Frank lived years ago in the Wisconsin area and was a really good man. I just wrote him the other day. Very sad news.

Frank will be missed by many. Condolences to Traci and the family. Frank conducted the only trapshooting clinic I have ever attended and honestly, I never felt the need to attend another. He gave me all the knowledge I felt I needed, the rest was a matter of implementation. Sad day for the trapshooting community. Prayers to the family.

I'll wear my teal feather he carved for me today and for the rest of the week. I'll miss seeing Frank. He's gave a lot to the game.

Frank taught the first clinic I ever took and I'll never forget him. He stood behind me and moved me forward just a little to emphasize the point that I need to be on that front leg. He asked to shoot my gun and when he was done he said, I could shoot that. This was an early version of the Kuhner. He did give a lot to the game. I felt it.

    Thanks Frank.

Frank was a great man in all that he gave.

Our deepest sympathy to the Hoppe family, Frank was a true gift to our sport, and conservation, in general. A man of spirit as-well-as many talents and abilities - he will be missed.

I also took Frank's clinic many years ago and if I ever had problems, he would reply to me via e-mail suggesting what I was doing 'wrong' and what to do to correct it.

Our sport has lost a tremendous asset.

    God Bless the family.
