Fox River is back open again under new management. We have a fifty bird derby every Sunday afternoon. Right now we have fifty bird all handicap three leg derby.
High score gets the leg, second high score gets first day money, third high score gets second day money. Some of our shooters want to try something different and we were wondering what some of the other clubs do for a derby. Also going to shoot registered on the second Sunday of each month March through October.
    Thanks,
Steve and Diana Reed (new management)

Forgot the location of the club. It's rural route Kahoka,Mo. just west of the highway 61 and 27 interchange south of Wayland,Mo.

Does the second Sunday compete with the Quincy Ill club?

Would like to shoot at your club, but won't likely drive by a club to shoot at another club.

I have heard that you have a nice faculity and wish you the best.

Ed, Quincy shoots on the first Sunday each month. Good place to shoot so can't bump heads with them.

I like 50 handicap, ATA or known ability. Back in town, so will see you Sunday. What time doe's the derby start?

Bosco and Ottumwa have 2 different 50 target derby models, both successful.

It would probably make for a little more work, but let the yardage groups shoot for their own money. The known ability rule is a crock because nobody enforces it or is scared to use it. If you do it by yardage groups then you have to beat everybody in that group, and not everybody in the derby. Sure there would be less money but you will be on even ground with your group. Just my 2 cents worth.
