1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I was at a bookstore on Cape Cod over the Labor Day weekend, and found a copy of a book entitled THE GRAND - 75 YEARS, in very good condition. The price was $35, which was more than I wanted to spend (it would have cut into my beer money, heaven forbid!). Cheers!

If someone else wants to buy this book, the store info is:

Isiah Thomas Books, 4632 Falmouth Road, Route 28, Cotuit, MA 02635-2533.

    4evryoung,

This was my first trip to the Cape in about eight years. I don't anticipate going back in the near future.

    SSeitz007,

Thanks for the Amazon heads-up. I made them a fair offer for the book ($25), and the owner told me that she had looked up the average asking price on the internet, and priced accordingly. Maybe they didn't really want to sell the book that badly. Of course, on Cape Cod, everything's more expensive, especially during the tourist season.

I ordered a lightly used one from an Amazon seller. Less than $15.00 shipped.

It is a very interesting book. This book and the Robinson books are musts for those interested in ATA history.

Received my copy of the book after ordering on Amazon.
A very interesting read and lots of photos. The pics of Vandalia will conjure memories for many.
